Carb upgrade??'s

I need to rebuild my carb on my '97 maxum 2100sr w/ 5.7l. I am considering upgrading to a 4bbl carb. Has anyone done this? Was it worth it?

Ayuh,.... Welcome Aboard,... So long as ya get a matchin' intake manifold, it's good for 'bout 20 hp....

The Edlebrock is a carbon copy of the Merc/ weber that Merc uses stock...
