I just finished decarbing my 1972 Johnson 50 hp that i have had for about a year.
Question:
When I sprayed the lower carb with seafoam I got lots of blue smoke and it bogged down
the engine like it should.
When I sprayed the upper carb I got a little smoke but the engine RPM never
changed, like it was getting air from somewhere else.I sprayed around the
carb but no change in RPM.The low speed idle screw worked fine on both carbs
though.
Any ideas on this??
Thanks,
Cadet Jim
