I am going to rebuild the carbs on a 84 Mercury 150 Blackmax. I know there are screw drivers out there especially for this. Any advice on what screwdrivers are best that fit the carbs on this particular motor? I noticed this website has Klein screwdrivers. Thanks in advance

A little off topic, but replacement carb floats. for some of those early V6 Mercs are not available anymore. I would recommend you try to source them for your motor, and if unavailable, treat the current ones with respect.

I would think standard screwdrivers like #2 size, would work on those carbs.

Take a couple cheap, slot tip screwdrivers about 6 inches long, with a small tip and small diameter shank, and using a grinding wheel, grind them down (narrow the tip and the shank as necessary) so they will fit down into the narrow passageway to the jets or orifices you want to remove. You may need to narrow the tip width and thickness. Experiment until you get them to fit. It doesn't take long to make them fit. Then hang onto them for future use. Other than removing and installing jets and orifices, you don't really need any special screwdrivers.
