All, No carpet on my deck or swim platform and it gets a little slicker than we'd like when wet. If you have used a carpet from iBoats here, what did you like / dislike.

I will ultimatley be laying carpet down and makeing them removable with snaps of some sort. Anyone have a boat with removable carpet? Can you share a couple detailed photos of how it's done. If not, I plan to shing by a dealer or two and look how it's done.

Re: Carpet

cut the carpet, to fit where you want. then have the edges bound, apply stainless snap. my deckboat has the removable carpet. we removed it on delivery, and it has never been back in.

Re: Carpet

www.snapincarpet.com should answer all questions. Would not have carpet any other way. I use my boat for fishing, diving & cruising. Carpet is a without a doubt a must have and must not.

Does your deck get slick when it is wet?

Thanks, I'll check them out. I like the look and feel of no carpet but the first time one of the kiddos twists an ankle or busts their head, it'll be worth it. Thanks.
