I am in the market for a cheap small boat trailer to just get an 350 lb, loaded inflatable to the boat ramp only 5 miles from me. I was at Gander Mountain and saw they have this brand called Carry On and they have 12" tires, submersible lights and pretty much everything needed to get me going all for only $499.99. Just wondering if anybody has any experience with these models or similar? They are black painted steel units, so I'm sure rust will eventually become a factor, but hey, my boat will probably only last another 5 years max anyways. The model I saw has a 2000 lb limit.

No experience with the Gander Mountain trailers, but I bought one of those HF trailers as TD suggested.

When it was on sale (and with a discount coupon for 15% off 1 item) it cost $200 including a spare tire. Bought a stick of 2.5 x 2.5 steel for the tongue, welded it all together and painted it with Rustoleum. Been doing great for my 500# jon boat for the past 2 years, total cost was about $250-300.
