Caught 65 sand bass last night......

Finally got a motor on my boat and got it running, and we decided to go on our first fishing voyage out at lake Ray Roberts. Got there around 7:30 pm, fished the coves for a while and didn't catch anything. After the sun set, we tied up under a bridge, and they hit hard! We were just using jigs suspended about 12-20 feet down right beside the boat, and we couldn't reel them in quick enough. Only kept about 25 of the biggest ones, but it was a blast! I'm just hoping I can find them again! Any tips for finding another school of them? I would just be surprised if they were in that same spot the next time I go out.

Fish locator. Gotta have one. Schools like that show up on the LCD screen very nicely, especially suspended schools.

Right now, prices for several of the lower end models are under $100, so there's no reason not to have one. Used ones are also a good bet. Craigs List is a good option, as is ebay.
