Re: CC question

A 20 year old Whaler in good shape is a better boat than most new ones and about half the price. More important, in 10 years it will be worth more than it is now.

There is no such thing as old whalers, just classic whalers.

Re: CC question

I own a 1988 18 ft Angler CC and I love it. Owned it for 5 years now. I owned an 18 ft Wellcraft CC before this one and a 15 ft Boston Whaler. I also like to stand when driving and enjoy the visibility. I am having the boat repowered this week with a 140 hp Suzuki 4 stroke outboard. I got tired of fixing my 1984 115 Johnson. Too many ruined weekends and aggravation because of that motor. My Angler handles the sea very well. I looked at alot of center consoles but I like the console design with Angler boats. Good Luck.

Re: CC question

les.......your going from a go fast bass boat to a cc?.....are you changing the style of fishing? or the fish you are catching?.......im confused.....one boat for one style....another for another style.......

except for what td said.........

another reason i liked my CC was the security feeling of having the lower deck. getting older we are not as stable on our feet, at times it is nice to be able to grab the gunnel, for balance, for than be overboard. especially when you fish with Sylvia. she moves quickly without warning, and will throw your kiester, in the water in a heartbeat.

are you looking for somthing different ....or..... :)
