CD boat manuals for 2000 175 johnson on e-bay

Has anyone have any exp. with those cd manuals on e-bay . I looking to get one for my 2000 175 Johnson . There so many posted , I am looking for someone that has some input from there exp there.

They are ok for printing diagrams, etc..., but remember, they are usually cd copies of the Seloc manual. If you get it, I would also get an OEM manual as well to compliment it.

an it will not be the OEM, Manual, as outboardbooks.com (ken cooke) has the printing rights on reprints, of OEM until 1996, and Bombardier, has the copy right on the newer ones. if it is a OEM, it is pirated, and probably poor quality. i have several cd's and were pretty much a waste of $.

Thanks High trim and tashasdaddy, Thats what I was wondering . I have a clymer and the pictures are very dark and not very good . My best bet I guess is to lay out the $50 bucks and get the Johnson shop manual . any advise on best site for johnson ome parts ? Thanks for you input .

dealer is source, unless you can find a used on on ebay.

Not a problem. Most of us have already wasted money on these non OEM manuals like Tash said. It truly is not worth it to save like 10 bucks when you are doing a repair for the first time and trying to follow a non OEM manual.

High Trim is right the CD I bought was an exact copy of a Seloc manual I had bought a week earlier. It's much more convienent to use the paper manual. I'm still looking for a factory service manual for my odd ball motor since the Seloc is quite lacking, I'd pay $100 for the original if I could find one. J50BELCRM if anyone wants to research one. I've tried. Ken

Here is the manual that you will need Kenny. Yours is of course made in belgium, and this one will cover the tnt system, but other than that will be ok for you. It is item number 394607 if you call ken cook and order it. 414-466-6060 ext 292

Thanks High Trim. I had talked to Ken Cook before and since he didn't have an exact listing he didn't suggest an alternative. I was thinking the '84 manual should be close enough no matter which model it was specific to. I'll buy myself a Christmas present. Thanks again, Ken
