Hey guys,<br />Does any of you guys know any good manufacters for a console. I would like it to be small enough for a 20 foot boat, but able to have flush mounted electronics, such as chart plotter, depthfinder, and etc. <br />Thanks,<br />George
You could build your own for cheaper. I think that I am going to build one for my 18' Cobia. I can't see shelling out $300-$400 for a console that will nto add velue to the boat. But about $150 to make it look nicer and be more functional I can handle.<br /><br />Good luck.
I had built mine from wood, but I did that to place weight forward. If you want to keep it light, and you have the wallet, you'd probably be best off to buy a glass one. You could go through the hell of building a glass one, but by the time you are done building molds and all that you could have just bought one. Good luck however you go....
