Ayuh,... You need a Prop Shop, which may, or may not also be a Machine Shop....

By the time ya have it Fixed, 'n rehubbed, you'll probably spend the price of a New prop that actually fits yer motor...

The number of splines is only one factor. The size of those splines is another. The length of those splines and consequently the hub length is also a factor. Another factor is hub diameter. The back end of the prop needs to fit the lower unit housing or you have excess exhaust going around the hub rather than through it so ventilation becomes an issue. Conversely the hub may be too large and as a result it hits the lower unit housing. People tend to buy just as you did thinking things they are familiar with will work. In most cases it doesn't. Always buy a prop "built for your specific motor".

335933 sounds like a OMC number; does anyone know what it fits?
Before making any changes what 65 is it going on 3 cyl. 72/73? or 4 cyl. 60-68?
What brand, size and weight boat is it on?What size prop is on the motor now?
From the pitch I would say the prop is intended for a relatively light boat.
What size is the inside of the hub where it meets the gearcase?
What size is the gearcase?
Apparently a 335933 is a Stainless prop.Listed for a bunch of motors with a 15 spline.
