changing lower unit on alpha outdrive

I'm replacing the lower unit on my alpha I outdrive because of a crack that has not made it to the gear housing yet. I've seen many lower units on ebay and didn't know if all alpha I lower units are the same or are they geared differently for different engines? I've got an '86 Chris Craft with a 350ci 260hp V8. I believe it has a 1.50:1 gear ratio.

lower units are the same with the exception of the Gen II`s and very early Series 1Gear. ratio`s are done in the upper housing.

Thanks for your help Bt Doctur. I will be able to buy a used lower unit with confidence now.
