I’m back!!
No real update for the Chappy. Never did get around to starting the vinyl. Life just kind of got in the way and honestly just been enjoying the boat. We spent a lot of time on Lake Anna, the Potomac, and Raystown Lake this past year. No other improvements or updates in the works. Pulled the outdrive off this past fall and all looks well. New fluids and just slapped it back on Monday. I did get a new fish finder. I got the Helix 7 mainly for navigation at night on Lake Anna. Now I just have to find a place to put it.

How's the QJ treating you? I finally got mine running well.

Ever since the proper rebuild it honestly has never missed a beat. That whole dilemma was a real learning experience for me. It goes to show that those carbs aren’t as finicky as people let on. You just have to understand how they work, and what the engine builder was going for. All QJs are not built equally, and a “good enough” remanufactured carb will not be good enough.

I hear you. I bought a new carb then modified it. I rebuilt the old one also.
