Charging light circuit wiring.

My inboard engine is a Ford Marinised V6 Essex pertol, several wires loose on dash panel, the small light which should show if engine is charging needs connecting, where should it be wired to? engine has altenator, Many thanks Lurcher.

The positive side of the key switch or any hot wire should do.The electricity will feed back thru all the wires.Jerry
