Burton says 2013 is "make or break": The 2013 season will be the 20th of Jeff Burton's Sprint Cup career, but next year won't be significant because of a milestone anniversary in NASCAR's premier series. The veteran, who hasn't won in 145 starts and more than four years, is mired in his worst slump at Richard Childress Racing. His #31 Chevy is 19th in the Sprint Cup standings with four races remaining after ranking 20th in 2011. That puts Burton on pace for his worst back-to-back seasons since entering Cup with finishes of 24th and 32nd in points in 1994-95. "I certainly have less years ahead of me than behind me," Burton, 45, said. "So every year you don't have success feels like a big loss.
