We cheer so loudly here when Jimmie so much as get's loose. I was trying to be nice above, but we ask every single driver near him to crash him out. Sorry, I had to admit it :redface:

And I thought I was the only one that did that... My wife gets upset with me because I am always wanting someone to take out Johnson and Gordon...heck to be honest...I pull more for someone to wreck the two of them than I do for my ford guys to win...:facepalm:

I do the same thing except when anyone is around Shrubby! I'll be watching the race and Shrubby would spin out or get wrecked, I'd yell out to my daughter,"Shrubby wrecked"! She'd yell out, "Yay"! I must admit, when Johnson almost wrecked himself I was at the edge of my seat getting ready to show my approval. When he didn't, it was like "rats"......

ps. Burton has a new crew chief for the rest of the season. His current crew chief went to RPM. Next year he's getting back with the crew chief he had for 17 years. Hopefully the shake up will get those guys rollin' next year...

LOL. I have one issue, I have to be respectful to Shrub . . . It's hard, but I play along. Same thing though, biggest yells go up when Jimmie is about to splatter. We are also kind of Gordon fans, and even he votes for Jimmie trouble

Actually Burton's new crew chief for next year is Luke Lambert. He ran a few races last year for Jeff, but he is actually really young and new. Elliot Sadler's crew chief today and may win the Championship. I think you're talking about Gil Martin who is back and is Competition Director I think.

Edit: Man, I messed that up ^^^^ I am not sure who you are thinking about WM, but Shane Wilson is interim crew chief (ex Harvick), Gil Martin is current crew chief for Harvick and staying so. Luke Lambert (Sadler's today) will be the 31 crew chief in 2013. New Competition Director is Eric Warren and he is ex RPM.

Well that's too bad. You must have a family member whose in the Shrubby camp..........

I heard on the radio(NASCAR) today on their news break on the 1/2 hour. They thru out 3 names and I was trying to keep them straight as I drove down the road.. He has a different crew chief to finish out the season. Next year, which you are correct, he's getting Sadler's crew chief. It is my understanding that he had worked for Burton in the past. I thought Burton's current crew chief was going to RPM. I could be wrong. They rifle thru the news so quick it's tough to keep up at times. Especially since they were talking this and that about Burton.

I didn't research it past what I heard. Looks like you did and have it straight. I just hope this change makes for a competitive team next year.... I'm starting imagine how the Cubs fans feel...lol
