OMG man! A 4 bolt main block and you want to pinch pennies? Heck, sell it to me and I'll make a 383 out of it!
Just kidding... well kinda. Find some low mileage Vortec heads in the boneyard. Sometimes you find them for $75 each. That's a bolt on 40HP.
The block is already almost torn down. In another 30 min, you could have it at the machine shop and bore it .030 over and get the compression up with new pistons. Those Sealed powers are fine. Cast pistons are A-OK for marine use. Total machine shop bill would be about $350 on the block and you would KNOW it was done right.
But if you want I'll drive up there and get it off your hands for you!
