Re: Chevy ad giving me ad

When I first went to my 23" monitor I had trouble like that. . .parts of the screen were cut off. (I have Firefox)

You may have cut off the part where the close box is.

Don S guided me into reconfiguring the screen so I got it all. Maybe you need a nerd to help.

NO, NO, NO!!! Don is not, NOT a nerd. Just coincidentally mentioned in the same post.

I had the same issue and closing mi IE session and reloading Iboats brought back the little bugger on the left side. It used to be on the right. Somwething about the popup video masked the Close button.

They just moved the close x button, it is on the left side of the picture, tucked up real close and up and down instead of laying flat. I use FF and it is there, took a few min to find it the first time it came up that way but it it there.
If you use FF, you can totally eliminate ads! I will not tolerate ads on my tv, and am certainly not going to tolerate that crap on a forum.

I think they moved the x to the port side to accommodate the hand held devices. The fail to completely load deal could be any of a gazillion problems with different links being slow, dead, or blocked by the user.

If you can't figure it out, put in a pop up blocker, or use the one if firefox. It nips the load at the start.

I have all the pop up blockers installed on Firefox, no luck J_Martin, things have changed on the load of this ad.

Install the adblock plus for Fire Fox. When it installs, click on the subscribe button that appears, then it will work.
