Statins block the synthesis of ubiquinone or rather coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) which leads to muscle pain and other disorders. If you take Statins you NEED to supplement with CoQ10. You could try taking large doses of omega 3 fatty acids (fish oil) at 4000-5000mg range. This will help with cholesterol.

Well, my mom pased away a couple of years ago at 93 years of age, and her Cholesterol was out of sight(380+), but she wouldn't take the statins and all the painful side effects, rather live in comfort and happiness....went peaceful too!....maybe all these @#$% medicines are something to think about!...
