chrysler 70 hp throttle controll issues

I tried to hook up my chrysler throttle controll box to my 1972 chrysler 70 hp but when I push throttle forward it pushes the cable forward and it needs to pull the cable to rev. Does anbody know if I can switch something around in the box to correct this? Any input would help! Thanks in advance.

You sure the cables are hooked up right and you don't have the throttle on the gear?
Post a few pics of the unit.

Throttle cable attaches to the forward pointed arm. The handle must be vertical and in neutral with the pointed arm facing straight toward the front of the control box
