I need a new friend from this site to help me get my grandad's boat going, the bottom piston has a hole in it that prevents the fuel pump from working right. looking at a grand to have it fixed but I hope I can do it cheaper with some direction. first is a manual with exploded views of the engine ( kind of like a chiltons manual but for boats and preferably on the net for free) then just some good ol friendly ad vice. I sure appreciate anny help yall can pass this way.

THose books are copyrighted and tend not to show up for free. They're inexpensive to purchase - you can find them all over the net. Aftermarket manuals are going to be more general, covering lots of models and years, and may not have tons of info specific to your motor. OEM manuals will have more detail...

About the only manual you can find on the internet are parts breakdowns if that will work for you take the serial number and goto the BAM Marine site. If you but a manual don't waste your mon on a aftermaket one get a Mercury Marine manual off ebay.
