Gentlemen,
Used to be she would go right in to forward as soon as I came out of neutral - now need to push control so far forward (to avoid the clattering) that the boat roars off at too much rpm.
It's a '97 Stingray 3.0LX w/ MCM A1G2. Doesn't do it when going to reverse. Is this just a shift cable adjustment? Do I just lube up the linkages? Or do my 18-year-old cables need replacing?
