No matter what i set or changed with the coils and all the ignition components, there is a certain cylinder that isnt getting spark. Even if i switched the coil, or any of the other components to that side.

all that is left is the wire itself right?

I pulled the flywheel and magneto and going to lastly replace the wires both.

so when all said and done, I will have replaced everything that has to do with the ignition. Is there anything else I should check?

seems like where you screw the wire into the coil might not be connected properly or bad spark wire. Also could have a short in kill switch harness.
I replaced coils, points, condensers, plug wires, plugs, made new kill switch harness. Every pice of electrical component in my boat is new.
Im thinking connection to coil,or bad coils. also short in kill switch to that specific point or short in plug wire. Put a test light and see if u get a little?

How can you check the kill switch wires? Its just two seperate wires that are harnessed together in the middle.

thanks

Hm, test them probably not. I know this might suck but you have to remove the flywheel and replace the wire it cold have a short.
Your best bet would be the plug wire going into the coil, Make sure it is in there. Or get a test light and see if u get any. If u get some but not enough its probably coil.
Good luck Matt

Nuts, the kill wires have disconnects so disconnect them. If you see the kill wires look like the one in the thumbnail, you have a problem.
