clinton restore need info

hi all, I have an old clinton i have taken apart to restore does anybody have the specks and or part numbers for me? all i have is........clinton mfg. model#j-9 ser#74785 type#15-14-9-6-0-7 . there seems to be slop in the wrist pin area so i think i will need the piston to wall measurement along with the piston to rod specs ect... my pre rebuild compression was 90 psi. if i wont cost to much i plan on replacing the piston/rings,bearings,seals,gaskets,ignition,waterpump,fule pump,jets/floats,andlowerunitseals. thanks:cool:

Putting all those parts into a Clinton is kind of like doing a frame off restoration on a Yugo.If your into it just for the rebuild fun knock yourself out.
If you want a fine running motor with real value your in the wrong boat.
A worthwhile project is more like an Evinrude or Johnson any where from 3 to 10 hp. from the early 50s to late 60s early 70s.Routine parts are readily available some right here. More major parts are out there in relatively normal channels.Easy to work on,Smooooth,quiet, reliable and excellent resale value.
