thinking about buying a cmc pt 130 trim tilt. Are there any comments on this unit?

Have one on RED SKY. Good tilter, fair trimmer.

Don't have the trim guage. I think I would like it a lot better with the trim guage. It takes a lot of tweaking to get best trim on plane.

For the same bux I would prefer an OEM PT&T unit.

Plus, you're steering cable may wind up being to short due to the set-back and they look kinda bulky to me. Ebay OEM T & T may be the answer....

I was able to find one for my 89 40 hp for a good price. I suggest you keep looking--OEM is best.
