I missed out on the 21' Regal boat but am now looking at a 22' Cobia cuddy set up for fishing. All soft spots in deck have been replaced with oak plywood. The stringers and transom are good. Can anyone comment on the construction and quality of the Cobias during that time period? This is an outboard boat. I will use my engine (175 HP black maax).

I'm reading this albiet a little late for a answer, but you have not provided a year for this boat in this post. I rplied to another post of yours where I mention that you should keep your posts in the same thread when discussing the same subject. This is a prime example of why. Nobody can tell what year you are talking about without searching for your posts.

I do remember that you mentioned something about a 1977 or so model. I would venture to say that there is wood in that model so it would be hard to give a appropriate answer unless you have had issues. I hope somebody will reply back for you to help you out.

Again Good Luck!
