coils on 92 130

I took the coils off on my 130 and did not pay attention to which cylinder it came from. My timing light is dead to check each wire and looking at the flywheel. I noticed on the Plastic cover on the starbord side for the cdi it says coil 1,2,3,4,. Would coil 1 go to cylinder 1. How can I confirm which coil goes to what cylinder without my timing light working? I do not like to guess since if it fires the wrong way you could do damage. Thanks in advance

hello<br /> yes its marked there and the coil pirmary wires are marked with a numbered sleeve. the top port side coil is number 2 the bottom port side is number 4 the top stbd side is number 1the bottom stbd side is number 3.<br /> if you connect the wires wrong I doubt you would hurt anything but you might get a loud bang.<br /> good luck and keep posting
