man this is a nightmare! its just plain scarey how cold it can get around here. i'm kinda glad i'm still in GA. i thought it was pretty bad as a teen, back when i was on top of lookout mtn in NW GA camping on a deerhunt. me & pop spent the night on a piece of foam in the pickup truck bed with just that aluminum camper shell on it. no heaters nothing but sockfeet, and maybe 3 quilts thick. it hung around 10 all night and the next day, with a windchill of 0. <br /><br />my fingers were sticking to the 30-30, but i stayed in the tree til @ 11am. when i finally admitted defeat, came back to the truck, pop had already gotten a fire going. lol

I just caught it in the 11:00 news.<br /><br />For the first time in my life, they called off school because of the cold tomorow in MA. A TON of towns have no school tomorow.<br /><br />They can have Florida, have fun in class <br /><br />Works great for me, because I had to get a test grade of 58% signed for tomorow, now I've got a whole weekend and then next week is shop week. Thats ten days to get my dad ready to sign it.

Good job on that test Ryan, sounds like you need MORE time at school. Growing up in Texas they "allow" 3 days for inclement weather. If it gets icey forget school, kids stay home. I always wondered how bad it had to get up north to cancel school and what not.

"They can have Florida, have fun in class" Ah Yes Ryan, but we have hurricanes, tropical storms, and other nasty weather phenomena, so these little brats get nice warm days off to go surfing instead.. <br /><br />Coldest I seen it here was 26... Snow here once back in round about 1978-79.. My old man was fit to be tied too... He threatened to sell the house right then and there and move to the equater... dunno if'n he was serious or not.. <br /><br /> Coldest I been in was 18..<br /><br />FYI... Current conditions at WPB, a fridgid 60 degrees... low tonite in mid 50's..

Hehehe <br />It was actually a "pop quiz", we didn't know we where going to be takeing it. It was on what we had talked about in class the day before.<br /><br />The day before I was sleeping most threw most of it.
