Heh..our first trip of the year..pretty choppy...but it was a nice relief! The boat ran perfect, and only a little loading snafu at the end of the day really(gotta try a different prop to have better control in reverse).

glad ya had a great day out.

fwiw. i don't see a pfd on the child. if it's got one on great. if not ya might consider getting one. in NE. all children under 12, 13, somewhere around in there are required to have a pfd ON while boating..

Yeah I'm not too happy about that either, unfortunately in Canada, PFD's are not required for infants under 20lbs, that also means that PFD's for infants under 20lbs are not available in Canada. I am guessing becuase they are unable to get Canadian Coast Guard certification they refuse to sell them in Canada. By the time one gets shipped to me from the States, she'll likely be 20lbs. Our delivery system blows for anything crossing the border. :(

Before anyone says anything, the straps were removed from the car seat so that she's not tied to it if anything should happen...babies float well..car seats don't.

Can you add about 10 psi of air to the kid and make them buoyant? Wouldn't need more then a bicycle pump
