Yeah, KIZ, but tell that to the Bozos who would keep pulling into that space you try to leave in front of you!Originally posted by kenimpzoom:
I try to "buffer the stops". Ken, I have a great memory about something like that!!! It was so hilarious, I will never forget it...it is forever stamped into my memory with indelible ink...I was coming back from a day trip in Seattle with a friend and his girlfriend and my wife...just before getting into Port Orchard is an area called Purdy...along there the traffic got a wee bit stuffy, and we were just minding our business, while evidently a guy had been trying for a while to get around us for a while and we didn't even know...seems that every time he would try to go past in the other lane, someone blocked him, and we were not in a hurry...finally just as he got to Burley-Ollalla road which crosses the Highway, and where this guy wanted to turn off (evidently he wanted to get home pretty quickly!!!) he was able to get beside us, and man he was showing his IQ and acting like a real idiot...he was so mad he had his ball cap off and slamming it on the seat beside him, hitting the window with it...we were all just laughing hilariously at his actions, knowing that it was making him even more mad...the whole thig that was so funny, was we were never aware of his car, and we never even tried to block the guy!!!Originally posted by kenimpzoom:
About 40 miles, takes 45 min, unless it is raining, or some bozo does something stupid.

I have a theory on rush hour traffic. It is all caused by one thing, tailgating. When the guy in front taps his brakes, the tenth guy in the line of tailgaters has to come to a dead stop. Tailgateing causes people to over-brake.

I try to "buffer the stops". In slow moving 20 mph traffic, I keep 10 car lenghts in front of me. But it is much less stressful, trust me.

Ken
