I bought a 17' cabin cruiser. with the help of a saws all the cabin was removed. I put a new floor in it with a step because the way the bow went up., but it works.i want to build a side console because the only one i saw was $250.00 for what I don't know? does any one have plans? Mars Bar

Just look around at some different styles, make simple measurements and build a box to suit your needs.
Check out craigslist for boat parts or free boats, strip out the parts you want and junk the rest.

Another option is buy some pink foam, use a bread knife to cut the parts, glue with 5 minute epoxy , shape the curves you want , sand smooth and glass with epoxy and cloth, dissolve the foam out with gas or acetone when done.

I make my parts from cabinet grade plywood from home depot, drill and screw panels together temporarily , polyester resin and glass inside corners to reinforce, knock exterior corners off with a power sander and coat exterior with resin. Simple enuf.
