Hi I have a 1990 200etxd , Just warmed it up after haveing it winterized. While warm I did a compression test of all cylinders.
I got 115 to 125 . The question is that the two lowest (115) were both the bottom cylinders, Are these numbers good / ok or is this a indication of need for decarb? Thanks

measure the V yamahas from bank to bank, 1-2 3-4 and 5-6, there is a difference in 1,3 and 5 and 2,4 and 6.
numbers look ok to me.

Re: Compression results

Never a bad time to decarb but those numbers are close to new including the two lower cylinders. The heads are diferent cc's on those two lower cylinders.
