I know a compression test does not tell you everything you might not want to know but that aside, what's the story with a compression test with out having a wide open throttle?
I had my wife looking over my shoulder tapping her toes because we had to be somewhere so I didn't take the time to bypass the neautral switch.
I had a warm engine and I wanted to do a test so I just did what I could.
01-F115. Thanks (180 in all holes)

Re: Compression Test Without Open Throttle

It really doesn't matter whether the throttle is open or closed, MDunn. No significant scavenging takes place at compression test speeds.
