This boat is actually made by Chaparral, who bought the company a few years ago....made in Georgia, a few miles from the Chap plant....these boats have some good features, but to me aren't worth the premium pricetag...have seen a lot of air voids, etc...in any case would go for the max horsepower(225 is smallest motor offered) since this is a heavy boat
