I have a 1982 evinrude 70hp and did a compression test the results were 140,140 and 135 are these numbers good. Also is there anything that i can do to get a little extra power out of my motor. I also have an 82 evinrude with 25hp with 125 on both cylinders good or no???? thanks in advance.

Re: Compression

Those are good numbers. Most ppl say as along as the are over 100 and within 10 percent of each other, others 15 psi, both of which you are well over, so i wouldnt be worried.
