Thanks JB, I feel priviliged to be here,especially as a moderator. Probably should have been banned or even smited a few times.
At this point I have no idea what title I want ......

Don, with your post-to-fix ratio that 20,000 count represents a lot more happy boaters than there would have been if you had not taken the time to help...salute!

While i am relativley new to the boat ind...i am not new to mechanic's. Iv'e had the pleasure with working with hundred's of high skilled mech's over the course of 40yrs.

I firmly believe you are the best diagnostic tech i have ever seen...and to that i give you kudo's you are one of the great's.


But you also (tounge in cheek) have earned the right to coined the I/O Nazi.... similar to the soup Nazi....

I was discussing this elsewhere recently. Don is truly a professional, and he reminds all of us how to troubleshoot properly. Conjecture is a very small part of proper troubleshooting if at all. And if, if, you start to offer up fixes before those fixes are indicated, you will be smited, or smote, or simply smoked . . . Annnnnnd, that is the proper reaction. I learned from a Grumpy Old truck equivalent to Don and I wouldn't have it any other way . . . Awesome dude!!
