constance alarm under cockpit

running my 1998 mercury 125 hp 2 stroke at low speed when alarm went off. checked oil level-fine, water pump pumping water out motor and water was not hot just warm to touch. temp gauge read little under 130 degrees. brought it home and turn on ignition and alarm still on.

I'll almost guarantee the float in the oil tank hsa gone bad. VERY common issue with these motors as they get older. With the key on, unplug the two blue wires coming out of the sender at the bottom forward part of tank. If horn takes a hike, you got either a bad sensor, or bad float. Either part is farly inexpensive. Get it fixed.
