Conversion of 20" lower unit drive shaft to 25", 1986, 125HP force

How difficult is it to convert a 20" lower unit to a 25"? I just purchased (stupidly) a 20" lower unit but I realize now I needed a 25" unit. I thought changing out the drive shaft would be a simple matter but now that I look at the manual, it seems complicated. Is there an easy way to do this? Thanks.

Not without shim tools.Keep looking.There are a bunch.What size 125/85
