Adam, thats like saying, they didn't find the box cutter knife in my carry-on luggage and tagged my bag, so I must be good for all other airports. :% Actually, I'd wouldn't worry about getting tickets vs knowing what real risk you are running for an explosion. I couldn't tell you if it is little to none, or just a time-bomb waiting to happen.

I did go check out the website. Their example boat is somewhat dubious. The original carb set-up obviously had some major problems. The fowling at idling and only obtaining 4000rpms at WOT. Possibly over proped, as well. The hp rating they provided for a 350, leads me to believe they had only a 2brl carb. Ie an apples and orages comparison.

IMHO, a MPI system may provide a slight improvement over a equivelent carbed engine. But most of the benefit will be from the ability to control the mixture through the complete rpm band. Drivability, starting, etc improved, just not major hp improvements.
