Cooling Issue

Hello,
My brother and I recently inherited a 1991 9.9hp Gamefisher outboard and just replaced the impleller. We weren't getting any water discharge while running the motor in a large barrell of water. Replacing the impeller solved that issue; however, now there is water coming out of a small weep hole in the upper left corner of the head. Does this mean the head gasket is bad??

Re: Cooling Issue

Yes, I thought it was a weep hole, but upon further inspection I think it may be corroded. Is this a small enough hole that I could patch it with something, like a J.B. Weld or epoxy? I have attached a couple pictures. Thanks a lot for you response and input!

Just wanted to let anyone that is interested know that I bought some Marine J.B. weld and that fixed the problem. It was a small hole in the manifold (it wasn't supposed to be there). We had the boat out and running last week for a few hours and everything seemed to be fine. May not be a permanent fix but sure beats buying a new motor. Thanks for looking and the replies.
