ALL of our Law Enforcement Officers are GROSSLY underpaid, IMHO.<br /><br />They deal with societies worst, yet we think they should do it for next to nothing. We treat them with less respect than sanitation people. Yet, we pay high prices for Liars (lawyers) to defend our own transgretions???<br /><br />Our priorities are all askew.

My apologies, James & nothing personal against you either...It is my belief that all religion is malarkey...... & it bugs me when people quote scripture......It could be the Koran or whatever....But that is my problem......<br />Again I apologize, I don't have to read it if I don't want to .....JK

You are very kind to say that. I respect you and our possible differences when it comes to our feelings about religion/faith, etc.<br /><br />I do my very best to treat people kindly whether or not they agree with me about Jesus and His purpose on earth long before I was born. The primary reason that I share my faith (yep, I'm doing it again ) is because it makes me so happy and gives me joy. I simply want people to experience that joy as well and (look away now ) it is my belief that people can't get faith without hearing God's Word (Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God..).<br /><br />The bottom line is that I don't share my faith to be mean or make people feel bad, but I do it to offer them hope. Some people take what they hear and ignore it, some reflect on it and consider if it means anything to them. My "job" as a follower of Christ is to share the message. Around here in my little well to do town ,the cops are definitely not underpaid. Life here is quite tame, family violence and a few burglaries aside they mostly help out people with a cat in their tree.Most tax payers around here are lawyers and I dare say that there is mutual respect.
