Check out this link to a single release that my best friend has recently done. He just got his first run of CDs back. This song was at number 195 last week and that's without anyone promoting it. Listened on his site, sounds good.

If he doesn't get the CMA or ACM's blessing, he will not make it BIG. They control the country music industry.

When you go to the iheartradio site, you have to click on the "Common Man" (name of the song) icon at the middle - bottom of the screen. It will load and buffer to the player and then play.

That's exactly the point of the post and poll. If you don't take the time to read the OP and go and listen at the link(s) provided, you can't make any kind of logical vote. He's good. His voice is almost to country to make it on the country stations around here and I quit listening to them because of that.
Last time I turned on the radio there was a country rap song playing so I shut it off. If he gets the right songs and the right look he will have a shot but it will be tough since the best country singers don't ever make it real big.

I think REAL country music is almost gone and the newer stuff should be called something else.I do like some of the newer artists,But some of this stuff is just crap by any name.Hollywood or bankers are taking over and its sad.

Thanks for sharing your comments. We are keeping high hopes for him as he continues to develop his sound and his look. His new album should all be available on itunes in the next week or two, so, if you like what you here, check them out there. This album has some great songs with a lot of potential. Some of the best messages and tunes I've heard in a while in the songs he was given. His previous experience in Southern Gospel allowed him to have some connections to some great songwriters and publishers that helped him get these and I think everyone will enjoy them with his pure sound.
