Re: couple questions!!!

jeff in beckley VRO is a Variable Ratio Oil They are factory installed automatic oil injection system. In shoet they mix oil with the gas a differnt rates. 150:1 at idle 80:1 at cruising and 50:1 at high speed. The tilt sounds low on oil. Raise the motor and remove the fill plug its a big cap screw like the lower unit. Fill it here and then run the motor up and down about five times. Fill again and do the same. This gets the air out where you just filled it. Replace the plug and recharge the batteries. You can buy the oil at Wal mart for 2.00 cheaper than the Marine centers.
steve

Re: couple questions!!!

i just thought of something,if that vro mixes at different ratios, what happens when people start just pouring oil in the gas can. does the motor still get enough oil. just wondering.

Re: couple questions!!!

it mixes automatically at different trottle positions, you dont mix oil to gas if you have vro. sounds like you may need a handbook. or (manual)
hey i live in blfd 35mins from you! :D
