Thanks for the recommendation guys. I think that I will just run the engine this season to winterize it (maybe take the boat out for an hour if I can find the time before it gets cold) and replace the manifold in the spring.

But you guys really need to stop rubbing in the "boating 12 months per year" thing... it's really depressing! haha

Seeing the season change and freezing your bollocks off for 6 months, or nice warm weather year round.... If you own a boat, no choice really...
