Working on replacing the floor in my Crestliner Sabre. I have a few soft spots, but I'm going to replace the whole thing. My question is what do the majority of you guys recommend for the covering? The old floor has what I believe is a textured vinyl stapled underneath the board. I like the old covering it was slip resistant and it held up well. The new vinyl I can find while researching online calls for it to be glued down? Not sure if it's too stiff to be folded under and stapled or that's just the new way to do it? I also was considering marine carpet or textured paint ( bed liner). Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated.

I've been using the Nautolex vinyl deck covering and really like everything about it. On one boat I wrapped each deck board individually and on the other I laid the vinyl in one run. In both cases I glued it to the decking.

Bedliner should be left in the back of your truck.

I also used Nautelex on mine. Love it. Very durable and it's flexible enough to wrap.

Ezmobee did you staple yours?

My deck, console panels, side panels, and bow area vinyl is all glued using the Nautolex adhesive. My box in the stern that my fishing seat is mounted to is wrapped and stapled and also glued on the flat surfaces.
