Cylinder head removal

Hi can i remove a cylinder head and inlet manifold whilst still afloat i have a merc 5.7 1995 carb bravo 3 thanks.

In general yes.
As you also have to remove the exhaust manifold you should check of your exhaust is above the waterline.
