cylinder heads

Can anybody
tell me if I can use a1979 chevy cylinder heads on a 1991 engine block and which head gaskets must use. the 1991 head gaskets do not match one of the little water holes in the center with the big hole in the center of the cylinder heads.

I'm sticking with "nope". Chevy heads on unknown engine. I'm thinking Renault.

dont know but I have a set of '88 SBC heads off my motor that I am looking to get rid of.

I thought there were changes to the steam holes somewhere in the early 80's on the SBC's

Would someone be silly enough to try and put 'chevy heads' on a block that isn't chevy????

Mercury put a Ford head on a block that wasnt a Ford....... and we know how the 470 turned out.....
