cylinder scoring

how much cylinder scoring is acceptable on a supposedly rebuilt motor. There are very visible scratches all around all cylinders and feel rough when checked with a tool.

The jugs should have a nice cross hatch pattern if they were honed properly. Is that what you see? or are there verticle gouges?

there is absolutely no cross hatch, solid inline only. My mechanic is coming today to check it out.

Do you have her apart? If not then do a compression check... if she is apart then measure the bores and check if they are in tolerance ... your going to need a manual.<br />Jon
