I know I sure as hell wouldn't want to go 200 mph in my 68 Charger! Though I have buried the speedo needle! But that's when I was young and bulletproof! These days I just like to smoke the tires when at a light next to one of those foreign tuners!
I blow the tuners away even in my Yukon. It is funny.

Im currently reading an interesting article about the aero cars of the 70,s .In actual fact the Torino Talladega, and the Mercs were actually faster than the birds but the birds had a aero advantage in the corners in effect negating the 40 to 50 hp advantage that the boss 429 had over the 426 hemi. Its too bad the king cobra never made it to the track to take on the birds but that's life.Another car I loved was Allison's Matador of the mid 70,s though it only won 4 races it was still was nice to see AMC take on the big boys and actually be competitive ..
