DC voltage pulsing

I have a 1996 Searay with a 350 engine. Had boat out 2 weeks ago and everything was working fine. Tried to start it today and battery was dead (less than 1 year on battery). Battery switch was in the off position, so no drain on battery. Jump started OK. Boat ran fine, but I noticed oil and gas gauges pulsing at 2-3 second intervals. When I shut the engine off, guages would continue to pulsate, and alarm signal would chip at same rate until I turned battery switch off.

I certainly would appreciate any help and ideas to troubleshoot this problem.

Re: DC voltage pulsing

Something ran down the battery like a bilge pump that is connected dirrectly Or it is bad

There is a 10 pin plug that connects the motor wireing to the boat wireing ,they allways look FINE but the pins get NASTY inside and need to be cleaned as all the guages and dash power runs through this plug
