dead cylinder...rebuild or sell it?

I have a 1981 Evinrude 35hp outboard that has one dead cylinder. I have about $325 invested in it, with controls, key switch, wiring hareness etc. The motor does run on one cylinder. Should I have it rebuilt ( how much?), sell it? (how much is it worth?) or buy a new power head from iboats at $1200? Any good ideas?

Describe dead. Compression? Spark? Just not running on that cylinder?<br /><br />Let us know
